A feed is built to hold you, and the fastest way to hold anyone is to keep handing them more of what they already agreed with. Over time that narrows the world without ever telling you it narrowed. What you see feels like everything there is, when it is really a room assembled around your past taps, and the parts you would have found interesting were quietly never offered.

Go around the machine on purpose once a week. Search for something outside your usual, follow someone who disagrees with you reasonably, read a section you always skip. Let something in that nothing chose for you.
