Maybe you don’t hate the subject. Maybe nobody has explained it to you the right way yet.

Deciding you hate a subject is often a conclusion about one explanation, one teacher, or one bad year, generalized into a fact about yourself. Subjects do not come with a single door. The same material explained by someone else, or aimed at something you care about, can feel completely different.

Before writing something off for good, try one other way in. A different book, a video series, a friend who loves it, a project that needs it. Give it one honest shot from another angle, and if it still does not take, you know it was the subject and not the setup.
