Not every ending is a failure. Some things just finish.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

We are trained to read every stop as a verdict on the person. Plenty of things simply have a length, and they reach the end of it. A team with a last game, a club you outgrow, a friendship that was built around a place you both left. None of that is proof anything went wrong, and calling it failure adds a weight the situation never actually had.

If something of yours ended lately, ask a quieter question: did it break, or did it finish. When the honest answer is that it finished, use that word for it. The word you choose changes how heavy it is to carry.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which ending of yours was simply an ending, not a loss?
