Build principles into behavior before conditions challenge them.

LEADERSHIP
Principles that live only as statements have never been tested, and untested principles tend to fail exactly when they are needed. Built into behaviour beforehand, they are already load-bearing when conditions turn, because they are not something you have to summon under stress.
Take a principle you say you hold and find where it currently costs you nothing. Then find one place it should cost you something, and pay it. That is the difference between having a value and having a practice.
Which principle of yours exists only as a sentence so far?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
