A setback tests your plan. It doesn’t test your worth.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A result tells you about the approach you used, the preparation you had, and the conditions on the day. It does not contain a verdict on the person, though it feels like one, because your name is attached to it. Plans are meant to be tested and revised, and you are not a plan.
Write two lines about whatever just went wrong. First, what it says about the method: what you would change in the preparation or the timing. Second, what it says about you, which should be a very short line. If the second list keeps growing, you are grading the wrong thing.
Did a broken plan make you doubt your own worth?
