Your inner critic has never once finished a project.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
The voice that tells you it is not good enough has never made anything. It only evaluates, which is a real job but a completely different one, and it is catastrophic when it runs at the same time as the making. That is why first attempts die at line three. Editing and creating cannot share a room, and one of them shouts louder.
Split them on purpose. Make the whole rough thing badly with no stopping, then leave it, then come back with the critical eye and use it properly. The critic is genuinely useful at stage two, and it needs to be told to wait its turn.
What have you left unfinished because the criticism started too early?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
