Nobody gets to vote on whether you’re enough. The polls were never open.

Approval behaves like a count, as though enough people agreeing would finally settle the question. It never settles, because the count resets every week and most of the people voting are distracted by their own week. Worth was never built as an election, which is why no result has ever made anyone feel finished.
Notice when you are polling: rereading a message for tone, checking whether a joke landed, waiting to see who reacted. Name it when you catch it. Then go do one thing whose value you can judge yourself without asking anybody.
Whose approval are you still waiting on before you begin?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
