Answering trades yours for theirs at a terrible rate: a minute of satisfaction, then a week of checking whether they replied. The exchange always looks better before you make it than after.

Leave one thing unanswered this week that is clearly asking to be answered. Do not draft a reply, do not go back and read it again. Notice how fast the whole thing stops existing once it is not being fed.
