The group decides what’s cool this month. You decide what’s right for the rest of your life.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

What a group approves of turns over constantly, and nobody circles back later to apologize for the previous version. Decisions about what you will and will not do tend to follow you a great deal further than any of that. The two run on completely different clocks, and mixing them up is how people end up doing something at sixteen they are still explaining at thirty.

Ask which clock you are on before the next decision that feels urgent. If it will not matter in a month, let the group have it. If it will, take the extra day.
