Assume you can learn it until proven otherwise. The proof almost never shows up.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Most people decide they cannot do something long before there is any evidence, usually inside the first hour of being bad at it. Being bad at the start is not proof of anything. It is a description of every beginner who has ever existed. Real proof would take months of honest effort, and hardly anyone stays around long enough to collect it.
Give the next hard thing four sessions before you rule on it. Keep going even when the first one is ugly. If you still hate it afterward, quit with a clear conscience, having decided on information instead of a first impression.
What skill have you ruled out without a single attempt?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
