Caring a lot only looks embarrassing to people who’ve never built anything.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Mockery of effort comes almost entirely from the sidelines, because trying hard in public carries risk and watching carries none. Anybody who has actually built something knows what it costs and does not find the wanting funny. The eye roll is usually a defense, offered by somebody who already decided not to take the same risk.
Keep caring visibly this week on the thing that matters to you. Practice where people can see, ask the earnest question, admit out loud that you want it. Notice who gets uncomfortable, because that map tells you where to spend your time.
What do you care about more than you admit publicly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
