A clock tells you the time. It never tells you what the time is for.

Instruments measure, they do not decide. A clock will tell you it is four fifteen with total accuracy and has no opinion about whether you should be studying, sleeping or calling someone. That part is left entirely to you, and it is the harder part, which is why it is tempting to stay busy and treat the measuring as the answer.

Look at how your next free evening gets used and ask who decided. If the honest answer is nobody, choose one thing on purpose, even something small like a walk or a call. Time only becomes yours at the moment you assign it.
