Outperform your former excuses.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Excuses have a lifespan. They start as accurate descriptions of a real constraint and outlive it, becoming a habit of explanation long after the obstacle has gone. Outperforming them means making them factually wrong, which is more satisfying and more permanent than arguing yourself out of them.
Write down the reason you have given most often for not doing the thing. Then take one action this week that makes it untrue. Do not debate the excuse. Retire it.
Which excuse have you already disproved by doing it anyway?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
