Posting changes what you are doing while you are still doing it. Half your attention goes to the angle, the caption, whether anyone will care, and the moment quietly becomes a thing being graded. Some experiences get smaller the second an audience is added to them.

Keep one good moment off your feed this week. The walk home when the sky is doing something ridiculous, the song in the car with your friend. Notice afterward whether it felt like less without the likes, or like more.
