Private isn’t the same as hiding. Some things just grow better without an audience.

Hiding means there is something you are afraid of being seen. Private only means that not everything needs an audience while it is still forming. A new relationship, an idea, a plan you are half sure about, all of them hold up better before they are opened for public comment, because early opinions have a way of quietly becoming your own.

Give the thing you are working on a month of nobody knowing. Tell one person if you need somebody, not a feed. Once it is solid enough that other people’s reactions cannot knock it over, share it if you still want to.
