Not everyone gets the director’s cut of you. Some people just get the trailer.

Being identical with everyone sounds like integrity, but nobody actually manages it and it is not what honesty means. Your teacher sees a working version, a stranger sees a polite one, your closest friend gets the strange humor and the bad days. All of them are real. Depth is earned over time, and handing it out on day one does not make you more genuine.

Look at who currently sees the most of you and ask what they did to get there. Some people have access mostly because they were around a lot. Let the rest be something people reach over years instead of in a month.
