Endurance is believing in processes after novelty has stopped defending them.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

At the start, novelty makes a process feel obviously right. Once that fades, the process has to stand on reasoning alone, and reasoning is much less persuasive at seven in the morning. Endurance is continuing to trust a method that no longer feels good.

Write down why the process works while you still believe it. On the days it feels pointless, read that rather than re-litigating the decision from scratch in a bad mood.
