A good goalie watches the hips, not the eyes. Watch what people do, not what they flash.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Eyes can lie and hips cannot, because the body has to commit before the ball goes anywhere. Off the field the same rule holds. Words, posts, and stated intentions are cheap to fake, while where somebody actually spends their time and money commits them to something. Watch the part that cannot be faked.

Pick one person you are unsure about and ignore what they say for two weeks. Track only what they do, where they show up, what they follow through on. The answer is usually obvious and you already had the footage.
