Build patience proportional to the size of the objective.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
People routinely take on ten-year objectives with two-year patience, and the mismatch guarantees a sense of failure. The patience has to be sized to the goal, which means either extending your tolerance for slow returns or honestly choosing a smaller aim.
Estimate how long your current objective will really take, then double it. If you cannot commit to that, pick something smaller. Aiming large with a short fuse is the most common way to end up with nothing.
