When motivation dies on a goal, ask if it was ever your goal in the first place.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Motivation is unreliable, but it is not random. It tends to hold for things you actually want and to evaporate for things you took on because someone expected it. When effort feels like pushing a car uphill every single day, read that as information rather than as proof you are lazy.
Take one goal you have been dragging and trace it back to whoever first suggested it. If the honest answer is that someone else wanted it, you can put it down, or keep it for a reason you actually pick.
When motivation died, was that goal ever really yours?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
