Feeling lonely is a signal, not a sentence. It’s telling you what you need, not what you are.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Loneliness behaves like hunger. It is unpleasant on purpose, because it is pointing at something missing rather than describing your worth. The trap is hearing it as a statement of fact, as though it proves nobody wants you around, when it is closer to a reading on a gauge. Gauges move when the situation does.

If it is around right now, try naming its shape: someone to be casual with, someone who knows the backstory, or just a room with people in it. Different shapes need different moves. If it has been sitting on you a long time, telling one person usually helps more than you expect.
