Know your worth privately, so you don’t need anybody to confirm it publicly.

LEADERSHIP
An opinion of yourself that only exists when someone says it out loud is not really yours. It belongs to whoever spoke last. Holding it privately means you already know what you bring before you walk into the room, so praise becomes pleasant instead of necessary and silence is not evidence of anything.
Write down three things you are genuinely good at and do not show anybody. Read them before the tryout, the interview, the conversation you are dreading. When a compliment comes, enjoy it, then check whether you needed it to keep going.
Do you need it public to believe your own worth?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
