Every idea you never try is a song nobody hears. Make the rough version at least.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Ideas feel more valuable while they stay in your head, because in there they are perfect and untested. Outside they come out clumsy, and the clumsy version is the only one that can ever turn into a good one. Most things people love started as something embarrassing that somebody finished anyway.

Take the idea you have carried longest and make a bad first version this week. One page, one voice memo, one sketch. Put an hour limit on it so quality cannot be the question. A rough thing you can fix beats a perfect thing that never left your skull.
