At funerals people find out about the quiet kindnesses nobody knew about. Do some of those now.

Most of what a person did well stays unreported until somebody stands up and lists it, and by then the one it belonged to cannot hear any of it. Those kindnesses were real the whole time. They were simply done privately, mentioned to nobody, and then discovered by everyone at once, far too late to be useful.

Some of that can be moved earlier. Do a quiet thing this week for someone who will never learn it was you, and separately, tell a person now what you would have said about them later. Neither one needs to be a speech.
