Aimless night drives with the crew end up outranking most of the trips anybody planned.

Unplanned time has nothing to live up to. A trip somebody organized arrives with expectations attached, a budget, photos that have to justify it, everyone quietly checking whether it is going well. A drive with no destination carries none of that, so people say what they actually think and the conversation goes somewhere. That is why the nothing nights are the ones that stay.

Leave a block of this week deliberately empty and unposted. Round up two people and go somewhere unremarkable with no plan for what comes next. The point is not the drive, it is the absence of a schedule to disappoint.
