Your parents are learning things from you now: new apps, new music, new ways to see things. Legacy runs both directions.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
The teaching arrow flips somewhere in your teens and nobody mentions it happening. You become the one who knows how something works, which is strange when the person asking has answered your questions since before you could read. It also shifts the relationship toward two adults trading. Being patient in that moment is a real contribution rather than a chore.
Teach one person at home something this week without sighing once. Show them properly, slowly, twice if that is what it takes. Then ask them for something you genuinely do not know, because the trade runs both ways and they will notice you asked.
What have you taught a parent that they now use daily?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
