Let your word become something people can build upon.

When your word is dependable, other people can plan on top of it, and that changes what becomes possible in your relationships and work. Plans built on unreliable statements have to be hedged, which makes them smaller and slower. Your reliability sets the ceiling on what people will attempt with you.

Treat your commitments as things others will construct on. Say fewer of them and honour all of them. Then watch what people start proposing.
