Nobody can hold you accountable to a goal you never said out loud.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A private goal has one witness, and that witness is on your side no matter what. You can move the date, redefine the target, or quietly drop it, and nothing happens, which is exactly why unsaid goals tend to stay unfinished. Saying it puts a second person in the room. Not as pressure, but as someone who will ask, which is a different and more useful thing.
Pick the goal you have been keeping to yourself and tell one person this week. Give them a date they can ask you about. Choose someone who will actually follow up rather than the person most likely to be impressed.
Which goal have you kept entirely inside your own head?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
