Nobody feels pressure over things that don’t matter. The weight means you’re holding something valuable.

REFLECTION
Pressure is a by product of caring how something turns out. You feel nothing before things you are indifferent to, so the weight is evidence that something valuable is currently in your hands. That does not make it comfortable, though it does change what the discomfort means. Being afraid of ruining it and wanting it badly are the same signal.
As the nerves arrive, say plainly what you are afraid of losing. Then handle it the way you would handle anything valuable: prepare properly, slow down at the hard part, take care. Respecting the weight works better than trying to feel nothing.
