A guitar string with no tension makes no sound. A little pressure is how you get music.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
Nothing produces without tension. A string has to be pulled tight before it makes any sound, and a certain amount of pressure is what turns capability into output. The mistake is treating all pressure as harmful, when the real question is how much and for how long. Too little and nothing happens, too much and something snaps.
Notice whether your current tension sits closer to slack or to breaking, and adjust in whichever direction it needs. Add a deadline, or take one away. The aim is not comfort, it is the tuning where you can actually play.
Where would you lose something if all pressure disappeared?
