What you see of anyone is the edited version, and the editing is not dishonest so much as inevitable. Nobody posts the ordinary repetitions, because there is nothing to look at in them. The comparison that follows is structurally unfair: their finished moments set against your whole unglamorous process, including the part happening right now.

When a feed starts making you feel behind, remember you are comparing categories rather than people. Keep your own record of the attempts nobody sees if that helps. Then get back to the repetitions, since those are what a reel is made from.
