Rest is easier to respect when you stop treating yourself like replaceable equipment.

REFLECTION
It is hard to justify maintenance for something you secretly regard as expendable. If you treat yourself as a resource to be used until it stops working, rest will always look like an indulgence rather than a requirement. The way you rest follows from what you think you are, and no amount of scheduling fixes it while the underlying view stays in place.
Notice the language you use about yourself when you are pushing. If it sounds like equipment, that is worth sitting with. Care usually becomes easier to give once the framing changes.
Do you treat yourself as well as you treat your tools?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
