LEADERSHIP
Energy for conflict and effort is finite, and most of the available battles are not worth what they cost. Treating every disagreement and every goal as equally important spends you down before the ones that matter arrive. Choosing which fights to have is a skill, and it mostly consists of declining.
Before committing to something contested, ask what you actually get if you win. If the answer is mainly being right, let it go and save the effort. Keep a short list of the things you will spend yourself on, and treat everything else as optional.
Which argument could you simply let go this week?
