Quitting the wrong thing is how you make room for the right one. Not all quitting is losing.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Stopping gets treated as a single act with a single meaning, which it is not. Leaving something that is genuinely wrong for you frees hours, attention and a kind of energy that cannot be created any other way. What makes quitting costly is doing it reflexively whenever things get hard, and that is a different move than a considered exit.
Ask whether you want out because it is difficult or because it is wrong. If it is wrong, name a date, tell someone, and let the space it opens go to one thing you have been unable to fit.
What would you have room for if you quit something?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
