Fifty-two weekends a year. That’s a lot of chances to become someone, or a lot of Saturdays in bed.

RESILIENCE
Weekends arrive in a quantity that feels unlimited and is actually countable. Spent one at a time they seem interchangeable, and looked at as a set they are most of the unstructured time you get in a year. Some of them should absolutely be spent in bed; the question is whether all of them are, by default.
Take one weekend this month and decide what it is for before it arrives. Rest counts as an answer, as long as it was chosen rather than simply what happened.
