Posting a hashtag about an issue is a start. Actually talking to someone affected by it is where the learning happens.

Signalling and learning are different activities that look alike from outside. Posting puts you on the record, which has some value, but nothing moves into you, because no new information arrived. A conversation with one person who lives it will complicate your position, and the complication is the point. Understanding costs more than announcement does.

Find one person willing to talk about it and ask questions instead of offering your view. Listen for what does not fit what you assumed. You can keep posting, but treat the post as the smallest thing you did rather than the main one.
