A read receipt tells you what time they opened your message, not what you’re worth. Stop grading yourself by timestamps.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
A timestamp records when a phone was in someone’s hand, and nothing else. You cannot see the shift they were finishing, the conversation they were in, or the three messages they meant to answer and forgot. Turning that into a measure of your worth gives a piece of software a job it is not able to do.
If you are watching for a reply, put the phone down and go be somewhere else for a while. When the answer comes, take it at face value rather than reading the delay. If it genuinely matters, ask them directly instead of decoding.
