Some of the bravest things you do will never be posted. They count double.

Anything done for an audience gets a return in attention, and that return is part of why it was done. The acts with no witness pay nothing back, which is exactly what makes them a clean measure of what you actually choose. Nobody will ever know about most of your best moments.

Notice the next time you do something hard and there is no one to tell. Let it stay unposted. Keeping a private record of those, even just in your own head, is worth more than the versions that got applause.
