Bravery gets imagined as dramatic, which makes the ordinary kind invisible. Most doors that change a life open through paperwork: an application, a registration, a request with boxes to tick. The reason those sit undone is not difficulty but what submitting them admits, which is that you want the thing.

Find the form that has been open in a tab or sitting in a drawer and finish it in one sitting, imperfectly. Set a timer if that helps. Nothing happens on the strength of intention, and the submit button is the entire difference between the two versions of this year.
