Give a hundred artists the same prompt and you’ll get a hundred different pieces. That’s why yours matters.

The subject is never the work. A hundred people handed the same starting point produce a hundred different objects, because what gets made is filtered through everything the maker has seen, believed and survived. The idea is common property; the execution is not.

Stop discarding ideas on the grounds that they have been done. Take the well worn subject and make it, knowing that your version will differ in the places you cannot even see. Originality is mostly what remains after you stop trying to be original.
