Knowledge handed down becomes a bridge between lifetimes that never overlap completely.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Much of what you know came from people you never met, transmitted through others who did the passing along. Teaching puts you into that chain, connecting lives that will never overlap and letting something useful travel further than any single life could carry it. It is one of the few ways of reaching forward past your own span.
Consider what you would want to survive you in usable form. Then tell someone, or write it plainly. Bridges of this sort are built one ordinary conversation at a time.
What would you want a stranger in eighty years to know from you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
