The deadline doesn’t check your vibe before it shows up.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Dates are indifferent to how you have been feeling about the work. That indifference seems cruel and is actually useful, because it removes mood from the list of things that get to decide. Waiting for the right internal weather hands your schedule to something with no obligation to cooperate. The day is going to arrive either way.
Plan backwards from the fixed point rather than forwards from how you feel. Decide what has to be true a week out and three days out. Then work to those markers whether or not the day feels right.
Which deadline arrives whether or not you feel ready?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
