Sometimes moving teaches you which parts of a place you were actually attached to.

REFLECTION
Distance sorts genuine attachment from habit. You leave expecting to miss one thing and find yourself missing something else entirely, often small and unremarkable. What you do not miss is equally informative, since it reveals how much of your connection was proximity rather than love.
After any move, notice what you actually reach for rather than what you expected to. Then rebuild those specific things wherever you now are. The list is usually shorter and stranger than you would have guessed.
After a move, what did you miss that surprised you?
