Treat your body like a borrowed car from someone who loves you. Return it well.

A car lent to you by someone who loves you gets the oil changed and the tires checked, not because you are ashamed of it but because it was entrusted to you. Your body is the thing carrying you through every day you get, and it answers to sleep, water, movement and rest. None of that has anything to do with how it looks.
Pick the maintenance item you keep skipping and do it this week. Sleep at a consistent hour, or walk most days, or eat lunch. Keep it as maintenance rather than punishment, since you tend to treat things well when you remember they were given to you.
How have you been treating your body this month?
