Worry rehearses a disaster that God already planned to walk you through.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Worry is rehearsal for a performance that usually never happens, and when it does, the rehearsal turns out to have been for the wrong play. You run the scene repeatedly and feel each version fully, so a possible event costs you dozens of times before it arrives. The help turns up on the day, with you.
Notice when you have started running the scene, since it disguises itself as preparation. Ask what you would do if it happened, write those steps down once, and let that be the preparation. Then step out of the rehearsal room, because you are not required to live through a thing that has not happened.
Which disaster do you replay that has never once happened?
