Sometimes gaining more requires making room rather than adding effort.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Adding effort to a full life produces exhaustion rather than progress, because there is nowhere for the new thing to go. Making room is the unglamorous alternative: removing a commitment, ending something that has run its course, declining a recurring obligation. It feels like less and it is usually what allows more.
Before adding anything, find something to remove. One meeting, one obligation, one subscription of your time. Space is the resource that most new things actually require.
What would you have to remove to make space for what you want?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
