You already know most of what you need. The clarity you find so easily for other people goes missing on your own situation, because from the inside you can see every complication and every reason it is different this time. It usually is not that different.

Think of the advice you have given a friend more than once this year. Read it back as though someone handed it to you. If it was right for them, work out what genuinely stops it applying to you, and be honest about whether that reason is real.
