Trade-offs remain real even when nobody likes acknowledging them.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Refusing to name a trade-off does not remove it. It just means the cost gets paid somewhere unmonitored: in sleep, in relationships, in work quality, in health. Everyone involved would rather hear that both things are possible, and the arithmetic proceeds regardless of what was said in the meeting.
Say the trade-off out loud, to yourself and to the people affected. Name what will get less. It is a harder conversation and a much better outcome than discovering it later.
Which trade-off in your life are you pretending not to make?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
