Slow down in construction zones, especially your own. You’re allowed to go easy while you rebuild.

You are allowed to be slower while something inside you is being rebuilt. The same person who would accept a diversion on a road with work going on will demand full speed from themselves during a period that genuinely has fewer resources available. That expectation does more damage than the original difficulty.

Look honestly at what this stretch is asking of you and take something off the schedule to match. Not forever. Just while the work is going on. The pace picks up again on its own once it is finished.
