Reading your old texts should hurt a little. Zero cringe means the software hasn’t updated in a while.

A small wince at your old messages is a sign the software has moved on. If nothing you said a few years ago makes you uncomfortable, either you have changed very little or you are not looking closely, because growth reliably produces a trail of things you would phrase differently now. The discomfort is the evidence.

Do not spiral about it. Register the cringe, note what specifically you would do differently, and leave the past version alone. Two years from now something you said today will get the same treatment, and that is a good sign.
